Alright folks, the time has finally come, all of that waiting has paid off. Legal Remedy Brewing is now officially open and like their tag line states, “justice never tasted so good.” Well, I can say they hit the nail on the head. This place is awesome! The atmosphere is excellent, food is on point, beers are awesome, and they are working on their liquor license. It is set up to be both a great family restaurant as well as a great watering hole for the locals to meet.  Opening right at the beginning of football season, you have a winner.

I was able to eat there twice within the past week and both times were spot on. As a matter of fact, they were doing so well that they ran out of food this past Labor Day weekend! To start the night off, the wife and I tried a flight of four ($6). We ordered the “Sidebar Summer Blonde”, the “Whistleblower Watermelon Wheat”, the “Polygraph Pumpkin” and the “Sequestered Blueberry Saison”. Her favorite was the “Sequestered Blueberry Saison. It’s a must try in a flight.

For our “Preliminary Hearing”(appetizers), we had the Chips & Smoked Salsa($4) and the Smoked North Carolina Rainbow Trout Dip($8.50). Both were fantastic! The salsa has a very fresh and smokey taste with a little bit of a kick, one of the best I’ve ever had.

For the “Trial”(main course) we ordered a Brats Burger($9.75) and the Chef Salad with Grilled Chicken and Vidalia Watermelon Vinaigrette($9.25). The salad was in a huge bowl and had so many awesome flavors! Definitely enough to take home for another meal. All in all, it was delicious. I was expecting basic bar food and was pleasantly surprised with their menu. Do yourself a favor, get your butt in gear and make sure to stop by and grab a bite and a beer! Viva Rock Vegas!
